Bittensor Weekly Recap – 1 December 2025: News, Top Gainer, TAO.

Published December 1, 2025

Big Events in the Bittensor Ecosystem

The TAO halving is a scheduled event in Bittensor that cuts the rate of new TAO token issuance in half – from ~1 TAO per block to ~0.5 TAO – once half of the total supply has been minted. As a result, daily emissions drop from roughly 7,200 TAO to about 3,600 TAO, reducing inflation and limiting the amount of new supply entering the market.

This supply-shock dynamic can make TAO scarcer – potentially increasing its value if demand stays the same or grows – but also places pressure on network participants since their rewards decrease. At the same time, for subnet tokens and the overall decentralized-AI economy built on Bittensor, the halving may lead to greater volatility – because liquidity injections supporting subnet trading pools will also be halved.

Subnet Updates

IOTA (SN9) Unveils Training at Home

MacrocosmosAI team has introduced a breakthrough application called Training at Home, aimed at opening the door for anyone with a MacBook to contribute directly to the creation of AI models.
The initiative marks a major step toward democratizing AI development by removing the technical barriers that previously limited participation to specialized teams and large data-center infrastructures.

According to the announcement, Training at Home is designed to be simple, intuitive, and accessible – requiring no coding skills, no complex setup, and no dedicated hardware beyond a standard MacBook. Users will be able to install the application and immediately begin contributing compute resources to collaboratively train machine-learning models.

IOTA describes this as the next phase of its mission to scale decentralized, distributed training until the experience becomes “indistinguishable from training in a data centre,” but without the centralization and exclusivity that typically accompany large-scale AI development.

The team emphasized the community-driven nature of the project, inviting people to “contribute, compute, own the future,” underscoring the belief that open participation will shape a more democratic and accessible AI ecosystem.

Training at Home is expected to launch soon, signaling a significant stride toward a future in which AI creation is shared collectively, not controlled by a select few.

Numinous (SN6) Launches New Paradigm

Numinous – the evolution of the former SN6 Playinfgames subnet – has officially unveiled a radical new approach to forecasting on the Bittensor network. Instead of scoring raw predictions, the newly rebranded Numinous now evaluates the forecasters themselves, opening the door to a fully agentic, transparent, and hyper-competitive forecasting ecosystem.

“The oracle is no longer a black box. We’re cracking it open,” Numinous announced. With this shift, miners no longer submit static predictions. Instead, they deploy live, evolving forecasting agents that compete in a public arena. This marks a transition “from f(X) to X,” positioning the subnet as one of the first environments where autonomous agents continuously learn, fork, and optimize against one another in real time.

To power this next-generation agentic forecasting framework, Numinous is integrating top infrastructure from across the Bittensor ecosystem:

  • @desearch_ai (SN22) → providing high-quality, verifiable, real-time data streams
  • @chutes_ai (SN64) → supplying base-model compute used by SN6 miners to build and evolve their forecasting agents

Together, these components create a transparent, data-rich battlefield tailored for agent-based competition.

Inspired by ridges_ai principles, agent code is fully visible, fostering an open-source arms race. Scoring is winner-takes-all, amplifying pressure on agents to continuously self-improve. Numinous describes the setup as “the first such high-stake competitive forecasting environment” on Bittensor — one designed to push forecasters toward superhuman performance.

Numinous outlined an ambitious development roadmap:

  • Scale → richer data access
  • Prove → benchmarking the top forecasting agent
  • Train → market-driven scoring functions
  • Resolve → building the Oracle Meta-Model for prediction markets
  • Execute → enabling live trading agents and forecasting systems

The full mechanics of Numinous will be discussed in upcoming podcasts, including Revenue Search with @dsvfund on December 5th.

Taoshi’s (SN8) evolved to VantaTrading

Taoshi’s Subnet 8 has officially evolved into VantaTrading, introducing a new identity and upcoming feature set designed to cut through market noise while preserving its ambition to become the world’s most powerful decentralized trading engine. Announced by @taoshiio, the rebrand marks the beginning of a more advanced phase for SN8, shifting toward prop-trading-grade intelligence and deeper agent-based market strategies. While full technical details remain under wraps, the newly named Vanta Network signals a more sophisticated, scalable direction for decentralized trading infrastructure on Bittensor, with further updates expected soon through @VantaTrading.

Score’s (SN44) Partners With CARD to Bring Frontier Vision AI to Global Cricket

Score’s Subnet 44 has announced a major partnership with CARD, aiming to introduce cutting-edge Vision AI to the world’s second-largest sport: cricket. The collaboration focuses on making advanced analysis more accessible across all levels of the game – from talent identification and player development pathways to predictive insights for clubs, franchises, and national teams. Score emphasized that the partnership is strengthened by the support of @numb3z, @thecompdog, and @aliktareen, whose efforts in advancing cricket development have been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.

Synthdata’s (SN50) Surges as Forecasting Engine Achieves a 20× Return in Just 2 Months

Synthdata has reported a remarkable performance milestone, revealing that its forecasting-driven strategy has officially 20×’d its initial capital in roughly two months. According to the team, it took only seven weeks to reach a 10× return on Polymarket, followed by just six additional days to double that figure. Starting with an initial $3,000 on October 3, Synthdata attributes the outsized gains to the strength and accuracy of its Synth-powered forecasts, which continue to demonstrate the potential of agentic prediction systems operating on Bittensor’s SN50.

Ridges’ (SN62) Expands Beyond Python With New JavaScript and Go Agent Evaluations

Ridges has announced that Subnet 62 will begin supporting agent evaluations in JavaScript and Go, addressing the most requested feature from its developer community. Until now, agents were primarily evaluated in Python, often forcing them to write Python code even when working within codebases built in other languages. Starting tomorrow, Ridges will introduce multi-language problem sets that include native support for JavaScript and Go, enabling more natural, language-appropriate agent behavior. The update marks a significant step toward broader tooling and more realistic development environments across the Ridges ecosystem.

TaoHash’s (SN14) Successfully Solo-Mined an Entire BCH block

TaoHash has announced a significant breakthrough for Subnet 14, revealing that it successfully solo-mined an entire Bitcoin Cash (BCH) block – a rare achievement that highlights the subnet’s growing computational strength and efficiency. The accomplishment has been permanently recorded on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, marking an important technical milestone for TaoHash and showcasing the potential of Bittensor-powered mining architectures operating at scale.

FlameWire’s (SN97) Launches Subswap

FlameWire has announced that Subswap.io, its alpha swap platform, is now officially live, giving users a clean and intuitive way to perform swaps for Bittensor Alpha assets. Alongside the launch, the team shared strong progress on the FlameWire RPC, which is undergoing real-world testing across simulated miners in multiple regions. With the Node Selector and Rate Limit Service already completed and the RPC Service in its final development stage, FlameWire plans to begin a one-week testing phase before unveiling tensorscan.io, the first major application to utilize the new RPC infrastructure. The team reaffirmed its commitment to driving SN97 forward and delivering high-performance tools that support the broader Bittensor ecosystem.
