Blockmachine

Owned by Marcus Graichen

BlockMachine is developed by the Taostats team, the builders behind the leading Bittensor block explorer and analytics platform. The team brings deep infrastructure experience within the Bittensor ecosystem, with Taostats itself serving as the first real integration partner for BlockMachine's production RPC traffic.

What is Blockmachine?

BlockMachine is a decentralized, incentivized RPC and archive node network built on the Bittensor ecosystem. Operating as Subnet 19, BlockMachine routes blockchain traffic through competing miner nodes, rewarding verifiable performance and correctness. The goal is to provide production-grade blockchain infrastructure that self-optimizes through economic incentives. By decentralizing RPC services within Bittensor, SN19 removes the reliance on centralized node providers. Miners compete on both price and quality, while incorrect responses lead to automatic ejection from the network. This creates a resilient and reliable infrastructure layer that serves the growing needs of the Bittensor ecosystem.

How Blockmachine works?

BlockMachine operates on a competitive model where miners run RPC and archive nodes to serve blockchain requests across the Bittensor network. As SN19, miners bid in USD per compute unit, and rewards are settled on-chain in the subnet's alpha token. This separation of utility pricing from token volatility allows the product to scale to real usage while keeping incentives aligned. Validators enforce correctness by verifying the accuracy of miner responses.

Miners that return incorrect data are ejected from the network. Rewards follow delivered work, measured in compute units and earned only on successful responses. This performance-based model ensures that the most reliable and efficient node operators receive the highest share of Bittensor incentives across SN19.
